The driving principle from the beginning has been the interaction and communication between people who come to the Centre.  The sharing of gardening activities is a way for this to take place.  The Centre encourages all levels of participation by all who attend.  Everyone then has the opportunity to make new friends.

The aims are therefore:
• To ensure enjoyment and enhance self worth and self confidence
• To enhance social interaction
• To provide unique, personalized challenges
• To provide broader communication opportunities
• To develop gardening and communication skills through a wide range of activities.
• To improve skill potential through activities
• To involve people in horticultural activities
• To offer engagement with the future development of the Centre
• To promote awareness of the environment

Grow it, nurture it, pick it and eat it. Create your own plants. Enjoy the gardens with others.

ACTIVITIES
A variety of activities are possible, depending on existing Carer arrangements, client needs, staff and volunteer availability and weekly commitments.  To discuss our programs and fees, please telephone (03) 9848 3695.
